Meet LYNNETTE

Lynnette Mawhinney, Ph.D. is an accomplished educator and Professor of Urban Education at Rutgers University-Newark. In addition to her extensive teaching experience and accolades such as a Fulbright Core Scholar award and an American Educational Research Association's Division K award, she is also a prolific author. Dr. Mawhinney's scholarly research focuses on recruiting and retaining teachers of color, diversity, equity, and inclusion in K-12 urban schools. She also is an award-winning children's book author and contributes to diversifying curriculum.
